Project Overview
The objective of this project was the remediation of an existing gun range facility.
Phillips Contribution
The primary scope of work involved the excavation, stabilization, transportation, and off-site disposal of lead, arsenic, and various polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) impacted soils and mulched debris from within the footprint of the gun range. Impacted material was stabilized and rendered non-hazardous through the application and incorporation of an immobilizing reagent. Additional scopes of work included clearing and grubbing, grinding of vegetative debris, erosion and sediment controls, selective demolition, backfilling and grading, and vegetative stabilization.
